Job summary

Fraser Coast Regional Council in Hervey Bay, QLD, is seeking a motivated Team Member Capital to support the construction and maintenance of road and drainage assets. You will work in a field-based team delivering high-quality infrastructure projects with safety and customer service at the core.

You will operate vehicles and plant, conduct pre-start checks, and assist with traffic control and data recording using Council systems. A White Card and MR Licence are essential.

Qualifications

• General Construction Induction (White Card).
• Current MR Licence recognised in Queensland.
• Experience in road and drainage construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake road construction and maintenance to specs and standards.
• Assist with drainage construction, maintenance and rehab works.
• Operate council vehicles, plant, tools and equipment safely.
• Conduct vehicle/plant pre-start inspections and basic maintenance.
• Assist with traffic control and safe worksite management.
• Record work activities, timesheets and service requests in Council systems.
