Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking road crew labourers for a local government project in Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands. The role is a 3-month contract with possible extensions and potential permanency for the right person, starting ASAP.

You will join a small road crew to lay pipes, build headwalls and patch potholes, with additional duties including chemical spraying if licensed. Must have right to work in Australia and reside in the Tablelands region.

Qualifications

• Experience as a labourer or road crew.
• Physically fit for manual work (digging, concreting).
• White Card (Construction) and C-class license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small road crew to lay pipes, build headwalls and patch potholes.
• Other roles available for chemical spraying (must have current Commercial Chemical Distribution License).

Synergie Australia is looking for Road crew labourersfor our local government client based in Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands.

The important parts:

• Location:Mareeba- daily (Mon - Fri), QLD
• Start date: ASAP - 3 month contract with possible extensions and permanency for right person
• Small road team crew
• Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident residing in the Tablelandsarea

What you will be required to do:

• Work in a small road crew team to help lay pipes, build headwalls, pothole patching etc
• Other roiloes also avilable for chemical spraying (must have current Commercial Chemical Distribution License)

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have previous experience working as a labourer or road crew or chemical sprayer and be physically fit to perform manual roles (digging, concreting etc)
• Have a Manual C class license to get to and from the Mareeba Council depot to start and finish work(MR license would be an advantage)
• Have full working rights in Australia and possess your White Card (Construction Card) Travellers and Working holiday visas holders WILL NOT be considered as this role will lead to permanent work for the right person.
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to the local depot
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
