Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Anglican Care aged care facilities across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. You will act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, promoting collaboration and coordinating person-centred care with a strong focus on communication and teamwork.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, be able to work a range of shifts, and be prepared to undergo police checks, functional assessment and NDIA checks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practice.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities at ward level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage time effectively and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to aged care residents.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to support person-centred care.
• Coordinate shifts and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
