Job summary

Newcastle Anglican invites applications for Casual Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse roles across three Anglican Care facilities on the Mid North Coast (Taree, Cundletown, Gloucester). You may act as a team leader at ward level and mentor colleagues, promoting collaborative, person-centred care and effective communication.

We offer a base hourly rate with penalties and allowances, plus salary packaging and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in palliative and ageing care; knowledge of AN-ACC.
• Current driver’s licence and own transport.
• Available to work 3 days a week with at least 2 shifts.
• National Police Check (relevance of outcomes may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to the ageing population.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentorship at ward level.
• Manage time effectively; perform well individually and in a team.
• Maintain effective written and verbal communication with staff and residents.
• Coordinate care and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
