Sutherland Hospital & Community Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Aged Care ward on a contract basis with an immediate start. This is a full-time position delivering direct patient care in a structured inpatient setting with a rotating roster including weekends and weekdays.

Preferred requirements include 12 months post-graduate aged care experience, full roster availability, strong clinical assessment and communication skills, and familiarity with documentation,

Sutherland Hospital & Community Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Aged Care ward on a contract basis, with an immediate start and a duration of up to three months. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a structured inpatient setting, working across a rotating roster that includes weekends and weekdays.

• Deliver hands-on nursing care to older adults in an inpatient aged care environment
• Full-time contract role with flexible rostering across the week
• Immediate start available, with scope to extend based on performance and service needs

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of post-graduate experience working in aged care nursing
• Ability to work a full rotating roster, including Monday to Sunday availability
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a residential care setting
• Familiarity with aged care documentation, medication management, and infection control protocols
• Compassionate approach to patient care with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
