Job summary

Macquarie University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Respiratory and Endoscopy teams, delivering high-quality care across two complementary specialties in a world-class academic health setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in education and professional development, and support evidence-based practice while providing compassionate, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory nursing or endoscopy/procedural nursing.
• Ability to work across two clinical specialty areas with a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with respiratory conditions.
• Prepare, assist and recover patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Develop individualized care plans and evaluate patient outcomes with the team.
• Administer medications and procedural sedation in line with protocols.
• Maintain competency with specialized respiratory and endoscopy equipment.
