Macquarie University Health invites experienced perioperative or procedural registered nurses to join our teaching precinct. You will care for patients across theatres, anaesthetics, cath lab and endoscopy, contributing to safe, patient-centered care in a world-class academic health setting.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, advancing clinical care, teaching and research. Flexible rosters, ongoing opportunities and a supportive learning environment are offered.

Competenze

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and BLS certification.
• Recent experience in perioperative or procedural settings: theatres, anaesthetics, catheter lab or endoscopy.
• Excellent organisational and time management, ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Mansioni

• Deliver intraoperative care in instrument and circulating roles across lists.
• Provide anaesthetic nursing support through induction to emergence and airway management.
• Scrub, circulating and procedural roles for diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures.
• Support endoscopy services, including preparation, device handling and reprocessing.
• Apply aseptic technique, instrument counts, infection prevention and documentation in EMR.
• Care for sedated patients and participate in safety, quality and education activities.
