Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its rural team across emergency, acute care and aged care services in Queensland. This is a 12-week contract-based role based in Collinsville, working as a Registered Nurse in a small but vital facility.

You will support 24-hour emergency care, acute beds and aged care, with shifts on a rotating roster and the autonomy of leading on shift.

Qualifikationen

• Proven rural nursing and emergency department experience.
• Strong triage skills and the ability to assess and prioritise patients effectively.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and work independently as the sole RN on shift.
• Aged Care National Police Certificate (mandatory requirement).
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

RN - Collinsville - Emergency / Aged Care

Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team across emergency, acute care and aged care services in rural Queensland. This is a 12-week contract role (19 October 2026 to 10 January 2027) based in Collinsville, working as a Registered Nurse Grade 5. You'll work up to 80 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster of 8- and 12-hour shifts, supporting a small but vital facility that serves the local community with 24-hour emergency care, acute beds and aged care services.

• Work across emergency, acute and aged care in a close-knit rural health service
• Lead clinically and work autonomously as the sole Registered Nurse on shift
• 12-week contract with flexible shift patterns and the chance to make a real difference in a rural setting

Preferred Requirements

• Proven rural nursing and emergency department experience
• Strong triage skills and the ability to assess and prioritise patients effectively
• Demonstrated capability to team lead and work independently as the sole RN on shift
• Proficiency with Queensland Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR), FirstNet, PowerChart and HBCIS systems
• Aged Care National Police Certificate (mandatory requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) training from Queensland, NSW, SA or VIC, with evidence of recognised prior learning where applicable
• Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing or aged care
