Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience for rural hospital contracts across Kingaroy and Warwick, Queensland. You will provide high-quality ED nursing care, triage patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a rural hospital setting.

The role includes accommodation and travel support, with contracts running from 28 September to 25 October 2026, offering exposure to a broad range of emergency presentations in supportive rural

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent Emergency Department experience.
• Triage competency.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS).
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Previous rural or remote nursing experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a rural emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care within the Emergency Department.
• Assess and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.
• Undertake triage and prioritise patient care.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and deteriorating patients.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support safe patient care in a rural hospital environment.
• Complete clinical documentation and maintain professional standards.

About Our Client

Our client is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience for rural hospital contracts across Kingaroy and Warwick, Queensland.

Both facilities provide essential emergency and acute care services to their surrounding rural communities, offering nurses the opportunity to work across a broad range of presentations in a rural hospital setting.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing high-quality nursing care within the Emergency Department
• Assessing and managing a broad range of emergency presentations
• Undertaking triage and prioritising patient care
• Responding to clinical emergencies and deteriorating patients
• Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care within a rural hospital environment
• Completing clinical documentation and maintaining professional standards

What You Will Need
