Moruya District Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver acute care in patients' homes through its Hospital in the Home (HITH) program. The nine-week contract runs from November 2026 through January 2027, with on-call duties and potential for in-charge responsibilities.

The role emphasizes autonomous nursing practice, clinical decision-making, and collaboration with a supportive team across the Moruya region.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Post-graduate qualification or experience in acute care, emergency nursing, or community health.
• Current ALS certification or willingness to obtain it.
• In-charge experience and ability to make independent clinical decisions.
• Competence in cannulation, central line access, and renal nursing procedures.
• Scrub experience and aseptic technique in varied home environments.
• On-call availability and flexibility to respond to changing patient needs.
