Job summary

Vitalis Healthcare at Home is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Hospital in the Home (HITH) team on a full-time and casual basis. You will provide hospital-level care to patients in their own homes across Greater Sydney, with shifts from 7am to 3pm and a Vitalis car provided for travel.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years post-graduate hospital experience, current AHPRA registration (Division 1), and strong clinical skills in high-acuity settings, IV antibiotics, and wound management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years post-graduate hospital experience.
• Current AHPRA authority to practice as a Registered Nurse, Division 1.
• High acuity clinical and excellent patient assessment skills.
• Experience with IV antibiotics, PICC management and complex wound care.
• Work effectively both autonomously and within a team.
• Great communication skills to explain medication, treatment, and instructions.
• Must have a current driving licence.
• Experience with urinary catheterisation, cannulation, venepuncture, VAC and IV infusers.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with patients in their own home.
• Visit between 4-7 clients a day.
• Deliver hospital-level care to clients in Sydney.
