Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering Team in Australia. You will manage a team of up to 6 including Supervisors and Technicians, focusing on equipment reliability and safe, efficient site operations.

Based at one of our operational sites, you will mentor staff, drive preventative maintenance, set training, and collaborate with the wider network to implement safety and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance and reliability team in an industrial setting.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability, safety and compliance.
• Degree in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor the maintenance team to keep site operations safe, standard and efficient.
• Collaborate with the network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
• Support Site Safety and Site Leadership to implement safety and compliance programs.
• Implement network standards and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Ensure adequate technical coverage by organizing training for the team.
• Manage local or Australia-wide projects as assigned.
