Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead the Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering Team onsite. You will mentor up to 6 technicians and supervisors, focusing on equipment reliability and safe, efficient site operations.
You'll partner with the broader network to implement standards, preventative maintenance, and safety programs, while coordinating training and Australia-wide projects to improve uptime and performance.
Amazon is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager to join the team and lead our Reliability Maintenance and Engineering Team.
The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is the line manager for a team of up to 6 including Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians (fitters and electricians). As a Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you’ll bring together the elements that make our working environment as supportive and efficient as possible. Your focus will be to lead and mentor a team of expert technicians dedicated to equipment reliability.
You’ll be based at one of our operational sites, which allows you to give practical guidance to your team and get a clear vision of what's happening at your site. This involves collecting data and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also have a chance to create an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient. That will involve setting up new projects that improve everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance. After safety, the most important part of the role is leading your team and managing their performance and development, including organising additional training.
