Job summary

Cootamundra Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a 12-week contract, starting as soon as possible. This role delivers hands-on midwifery care in a regional NSW setting, supporting women through pregnancy, labour and birth.

You will provide direct clinical care across the maternity pathway from antenatal through postnatal support, within a supportive regional hospital team committed to quality maternal and newborn care.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour care
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and a woman-centred approach to care
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a regional maternity service
