Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking a Registered Midwife to deliver safe, woman-centred care across pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period in Cootamundra. You will collaborate with women, families and a multidisciplinary team to empower informed decisions about care.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA and commitment to safe, evidence-based care.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for women across pregnancy, labour and postnatal period.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality midwifery care to women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.
• Develop and evaluate individualised care plans in partnership with women and families.
• Monitor changes in a woman's condition and communicate with the healthcare team.
