Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services company, invites applications for an ICT Risk & Audit Manager contract in Canberra. The role leads ICT audit, assurance and risk management in a large technology environment, coordinating major audit activities and guiding remediation of findings.

The position requires NV1 clearance, extensive Australian Government ICT audit experience, and strong knowledge of COBIT/ITIL.

Qualifications

• Extensive ICT audit and assurance experience within Australian Government environments.
• Strong knowledge of ICT audit standards, risk frameworks, COBIT and ITIL.
• Relevant certification or qualification, such as CISA, CRISC or equivalent.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, executive communication and analytical skills.

ICT Risk & Audit Manager | NV1 | Canberra

Take the lead in ICT audit, assurance and risk management within a large-scale, complex technology environment. This Canberra-based contract offers the opportunity to coordinate major audit activities, advise senior stakeholders, strengthen governance outcomes and guide the remediation of ICT risk findings.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential for 2 x 12-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance is mandatory
Closing Date: Monday, 17 August 2026 at 10:00am Canberra time

Essential Tasks
