The Position

Our client is a respected and growing financial advisory business seeking a Risk Client Service Officer to join their specialist Risk advice team. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role spanning insurance administration, underwriting and claims management, and stakeholder relationship‑building. The successful candidate will serve as the vital link between the firm's Risk Advisers and their clients, delivering exceptional service across a broad portfolio of personal and group insurance. The role offers a $90,000 package (inclusive of superannuation)

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and third‑party professionals, managing administrative queries across phone and email with timely follow‑through
• Overseeing and monitoring insurance administration workflows, prioritising tasks and ensuring appropriate urgency is applied at every step
• Processing and managing underwriting and claims accurately and efficiently across both retail and group insurance, collaborating closely with Advisers on complex cases
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Underwriters and insurer stakeholders to support the best possible client experience from application through to claim
• Assisting with ongoing insurance client maintenance including policy updates, overdue premiums, cancellations, quotes, pre‑assessments, risk schedules, reductions, and changes of client details
• Conducting quality reviews of outsourced administrative work to ensure service standards are consistently met
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives that support better client outcomes and more efficient internal operations

• Experience in personal or group insurance administration, preferably within financial services or a financial advice business
• Solid understanding of underwriting processes, claims management, and insurer engagement

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance
