Job summary

NGS Super Pty Limited is seeking a Risk Enablement Manager to strengthen risk capability and culture across the Fund. You will partner with stakeholders, drive continuous improvement in risk frameworks, and support regulatory change initiatives to enable informed decisions.

You will lead internal audits, maintain risk policies, oversee conduct risk, and help improve GRC systems while coordinating resilience activities and risk training for the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management within financial services.
• Knowledge of risk frameworks and policy management.
• Experience delivering risk training and awareness programs.
• Understanding of business continuity and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements (APRA CPS/CPs).

The Role

As a key partner to the business, the Risk Enablement Manager plays a pivotal role in strengthening risk capability, fostering a proactive risk culture, and helping the organisation navigate an evolving regulatory landscape. As a valued member of the Line 2 Risk team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the Fund, drive continuous improvement in risk frameworks, support regulatory change initiatives, and enable confident, informed decision-making.

What you’ll do

• Support the ongoing enhancement of the Fund's risk management frameworks and practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed a strong and proactive risk culture across the organisation.
• Lead and coordinate internal audit activities, including the management of audit findings and actions.
• Maintain and review risk policies to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations and business needs.
• Oversee conduct risk initiatives to promote ethical behaviours and sound decision-making.
• Drive improvements to governance, risk and compliance (GRC) systems and processes.
• Support the implementation of new and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain the Operational Risk Management Framework.
• Coordinate business continuity planning, testing and incident response activities to strengthen organisational resilience.
• Design and deliver risk training, capability-building and risk maturity initiatives across the business.
• Support the Line 2 Risk team in other risk and compliance initiatives.

About you

A collaborative and influential risk professional with experience embedding risk culture and driving continuous improvement, you will bring:

• Experience in risk management within financial services, with exposure to operational risk, governance, compliance, business continuity or risk culture initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, policy management and regulatory change implementation.
• Experience delivering risk training, capability uplift and risk awareness programs.
• Sound understanding of business continuity and operational resilience practices.
• Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements and their practical application.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and embed effective risk management across the organisation.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and governance committees.

Nice to have but not essential:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional risk, governance or finance certification.
• Experience enhancing risk culture and organisational risk maturity.
• Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, including CPS 230, SPS 220 and CPS 234.
• Professional membership with RMIA, Governance Institute of Australia, or similar is desirable.
