Job summary

Child Australia in Darwin is seeking a Risk & Compliance Partner to join the People, Risk & Integrity team. The role strengthens compliance, manages risk and supports services to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for children and communities.

You’ll work with Service Leaders, Managers and Educators, providing coaching, guidance and training to build capability and maintain the 1Place system across the business. Remuneration up to $130,000 p.a.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood or Education with relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of National Law and National Regulations.
• Experience leading internal audits and policy reviews.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
• Provide specialist advice and regulatory updates to leaders, managers and educators.
• Lead administration and ongoing management of the 1Place system.
• Deliver end-user training and guidance to promote consistent use of the platform.
• Strengthen care quality through coaching and actionable feedback.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and support regulatory reviews.
• Investigate breaches and drive corrective actions.
• Identify emerging risks and maintain the service compliance risk register.
• Support emergency preparedness and evacuation planning.
• Develop, review and maintain policies and practical compliance resources.
