Job summary

Bolton Clarke is recruiting for a high-impact 6-month contract in Brisbane to drive enterprise risk and internal audit outcomes. You will partner with leaders and executives to strengthen governance, controls and risk capability across the organisation.

You will maintain the risk framework, assist in audit planning and reporting, and help track actions across functions to build a stronger risk culture within a not-for-profit health and aged care provider.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in business, health, governance, risk, internal audit, compliance or related discipline.
• Experience in governance, risk, compliance or internal audit within a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
• Experience preparing risk or audit reports and tracking actions and recommendations.
• Ability to work across functions and build a positive risk and controls culture.
• Risk management or internal audit qualifications highly regarded.
• Healthcare, aged care or assurance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the enterprise risk management framework and provide practical risk advice, training and reporting.
• Support internal audit planning, delivery, reporting, and recommendation tracking.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen governance, compliance, controls and risk practices.
• Support business continuity, crisis response, insurance and compliance programs as required.
• Prepare committee reporting and monitor audit actions, risks and recommendations.

Key activities

About you

You are a practical and collaborative risk, assurance or internal audit professional who can translate complex requirements into clear advice. You build credibility with stakeholders, exercise sound judgement and deliver accurate reporting in a complex organisation.
