Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to manage accounting, reporting and stakeholder partnerships across our Residential Aged Care business. The role combines technical accounting, analysis and insightful reporting to support operations and governance.

You will drive month-end processes, budgets and forecasts, while enhancing Power BI dashboards and ensuring compliance with standards. Hybrid work is available in a supportive not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Experience as Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Strong reconciliation and GL accounting skills.
• Power BI or similar financial reporting tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or large complex organisation is valued.

Responsabilités

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for the financial management and reporting of Catering, Lifestyle and Administration costs across our Residential Aged Care business.

This is a hands-on role that combines financial accounting, analysis, reporting and stakeholder partnership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail while also supporting operational leaders with meaningful financial insights.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing monthly journals, accruals and general ledger adjustments
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting activities

About you

You'll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems and building strong stakeholder relationships.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Strong reconciliation and general ledger accounting skills
• Experience with Power BI or similar financial reporting tools will be highly regarded
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Experience within aged care, healthcare or a large complex organisation will be highly regarded
