Steamatic North Queensland – Mackay invites applications for a Trainee Branch Manager / Operations Supervisor. This hands-on leadership role offers a clear pathway to branch management while you continue to be involved in restoration work across water damage, mould, and fire recovery projects.

You will join our Mackay team, learn systems and processes, and progressively take on responsibilities from job assessment to branch operations, working closely with insurers, builders and property

Qualifications

• Experience in trades, construction or service industries.
• Led small teams or supervised projects.
• Wants management career while staying hands-on.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Pass police checks and client security clearances.
• Current QLD Driver’s Licence.
• White Card or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assess water, mould and fire damage at properties.
• Develop scopes of work and organise equipment and crews.
• Lead small teams on restoration projects.
• Schedule jobs and manage workflow.
• Liaise with insurers, builders and property managers.
• Manage job costs and maintain reporting standards.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Mackay branch.
