Hanlon Industries Pty Ltd in Narangba, Queensland is seeking an experienced Rigger / Site Installer to join our local team. This hands-on, site-based role focuses on rigging, erection and installation of structural steel and related structures across diverse projects.

You'll work with project managers and site supervisors to deliver safe, efficient outcomes. The role may involve nights or weekends and travel to project sites within South East Queensland, with competitive rates and overtime

Qualifications

• Hands-on site-based role focused on rigging and installation.
• Experience in structural steel erection and rigging.
• Able to read and interpret structural drawings.
• White Card required; High Risk Licence preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsabilités

We’re looking for an experienced Rigger / Site Installer to join our Narangba-based Queensland team, working across a diverse range of structural steel, infrastructure and specialty installation projects.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role focused on the rigging, erection and installation of structural steel and associated structures.

Working alongside our Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you’ll help deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard across South East Queensland.

The work is varied and may include commercial and industrial structural steel, infrastructure, outdoor media structures and other specialty steel installations.

What We’re Looking For

• Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence
• Proven experience in structural steel erection, rigging or site installation
• Construction Industry White Card
• EWP and Working at Heights tickets highly regarded
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings
• Strong understanding of safe lifting, rigging and installation practices
• Confident working at heights and in active construction environments
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexibility around project hours, including occasional nights, weekends or travel where required

Experience installing structural steel, billboards, signage, infrastructure or specialty structures will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Rig, lift, position and install structural steel and associated components
• Assist with the erection and installation of steel structures
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and site documentation
• Safely use rigging equipment, tools, EWP and other site equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials and equipment
• Complete pre-starts, lift preparation and site safety requirements
• Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and other trades
• Identify and resolve practical installation issues on site
• Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas
