Job summary

Ultracast Pty Ltd in Kurri Kurri is seeking an experienced Rigger/Dogman to safely lift, rig and place precast concrete panels on a live construction site. You will work with formworkers, concreting crews, site supervisors and drivers, applying a strong safety mindset and clear communication at all times.

You will perform pre-lift risk assessments, inspect rigging gear, maintain a tidy work area and follow WHS procedures to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a rigging or dogging role, preferably in the construction or precast concrete industry.
• Rigging licence (basic or intermediate, RB/RI) – essential
• White Card (General Construction Induction) – required
• Familiarity with the use of power tools and machinery used in the precast concrete industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Australian work rights are required for this position
• Valid car driver licence and own reliable transport

Job description

What you'll be doing

You will be responsible for the safe lifting, slewing and placement of precast concrete panels and components, working closely with our formworkers, concreting team, site supervisors and truck drivers. This is a hands‑on role on a live site, so reliability, communication and a strong safety mindset are essential.

You will be required to perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards prior to loading for removal from site.

You are expected to maintain a clean and organised work environment whilst adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
