Job description

Fernhill Agistment and Equestrian Centre are seeking an experienced rider/groom for our thoroughbred and showjumping farm. We are situated 1 1/2 hours from Sydney NSW, Australia.

No sponsorships available. But we are able to sign off WHV - 2nd and 3rd year visas. You must have a current visa and be in Australia or have your WHV in place and ready to come to Australia. Start date early to mid November 2026.

We are looking for an experienced and competent rider with a strong background in eventing or showjumping. Must be confident riding and handling large horses including colts.The role also involves all normal stable duties.

The role is NOT for a beginner rider.

The position is full time live in. Pastoral Award wage. Accommodation, food, share staff car for local use and wifi are available. We have a great sociable team living on the farm and you must be able to work as a team member or by yourself. Speak fluent English. We are able to sign off WHV - 2nd and 3rd year visas.

Start date mid November and have a current WHV.
