Job summary

SpaceX, developing Starlink satellites, is seeking a RF/Microwave Engineer to design, implement and verify RF hardware for satellites and ground communication links. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across architecture, RF, antenna, DSP, and ASIC engineering to advance high-performance wireless systems.

Ideal candidates have a background in RF/microwave circuit design and hands-on experience with 3D EM tools, lab equipment, and programming for modeling and test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/comp engineering, physics or related field.
• 1+ years of RF/microwave circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and model communication systems.
• Collaborate with RF, antenna, DSP, and ASIC engineers to partition functions between hardware and software.
• Assess feasibility of various designs for architectural definition.
• Derive top-level RF link and subsystem specifications.
• Characterize and analyze system performance.
• Provide technical support to regulatory, coordination, and market access teams.
