Job summary

Altius is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support recovery and rehabilitation for individuals with injury, illness, or disability. You will craft personalised rehab plans and conduct multiple assessments to guide independence and community reintegration.

Role involves collaborating with clients, families, insurers and employers, presenting case findings, and driving credible recommendations to achieve optimal return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist or ESSA Registration as an EP.
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• Current drivers' licence and access to own transport.
• Full Australian Working rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
• Complete assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace & Ergonomic Assessments, and ADL assessments.
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones.
• Use clinical experience to assess and facilitate Return-to-Work for claimants.
• Collaborate with clients, families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals.
• Present case information and provide credible recommendations to drive outcomes.
