Job summary

Altius is seeking a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the Campbelltown office. You will identify and address physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational factors impacting return-to-work and provide strategies to address these factors in practice.

Key duties include completing return-to-work case management under WorkCover, conducting assessments (Initial Needs, Functional Capacity, Workplace and Vocational), delivering vocational counselling and facilitating well-being

Qualifications

• ASORC membership or AHPRA registration required.
• 1–2 years experience in Occupational Rehabilitation.
• Relevant Psychology or Rehabilitation Counsellor qualification.
• Current driver's licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Complete return to work case management for injured workers under WorkCover.
• Provide holistic support through assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace and Vocational Assessments.
• Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
• Collaborate with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
