Job description

ACCIONA is a global company, leading in the development of regenerative infrastructure that creates a positive impact on society. Our workforce consists of more than 41,500 professionals, present in more than 40 countries across the five continents, all contributing in our mission to design a better planet. Are you a passionate individual who wants to make a difference, promote sustainable development, and find solutions to the biggest global challenges, including climate change, overpopulation, and water scarcity? Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.

Overview

The Opportunity: We are looking for a Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator to support the delivery of Acciona's Injury Management and Rehabilitation Program across WA, SA and VIC. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the Safety and Wellbeing team to assist employees recovering from both work-related and non-work-related injuries—physical and psychological. This is a great opportunity to build your capability in psychosocial risk management, learn best practice across diverse operations, and contribute to a proactive, supportive approach to recovery and wellbeing across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support injury management across WA/SA/VIC, including early incident follow-up, coordination of rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, and maintaining confidential, accurate records.
  • Identify emerging issues, risks and improvement opportunities, contributing to proactive development across projects and teams.
  • Build inclusive, productive working relationships, collaborating effectively while role-modelling behaviour that avoids stereotypes, bias and prejudice.
  • Collect and manage OHS/WHS data accurately, ensuring information is used effectively to support safety outcomes and broader business performance.
  • Strengthen Acciona's safety culture by promoting early reporting, delivering training, and assisting the national team with psychosocial risk initiatives, procedures, programs and strategic improvements.
About You
  • You have experience in injury management or return-to-work coordination—ideally in construction or other high-risk industries—and a strong understanding of South Australian and Victorian workers compensation systems.
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills allow you to manage sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism and confidence.
  • You demonstrate strong organisational and case-management capability, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • You hold a formal health and safety or allied health qualification, Return to Work Coordinator training (SA or VIC), and a current driver's licence ideally.
