Job summary

EcoCycle Group is recruiting a Business Development Executive to drive growth from the Campbellfield head office, expanding the retail customer base and developing strategic partnerships across ANZ. This hunter role focuses on securing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships and delivering practical recycling programs with national retailers.

You will engage procurement, sustainability and operations teams to position EcoCycle as a trusted partner in environmental compliance

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development, account management or solution sales
• Experience winning new business and developing customer relationships
• Strong consultative selling and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience selling into retail, facilities management, property or related sectors
• Ability to engage with procurement, sustainability, operations and executive stakeholders
• Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and CRM activity
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, product stewardship, environmental compliance or ESG programs will be highly regarded
• A passion for helping customers achieve meaningful sustainability outcomes
• Full and unrestricted AU working rights

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the retail sector
• Build relationships with national retailers, franchise groups and multi-site organisations
• Promote EcoCycle Group's market-leading recycling and resource recovery solutions
• Engage retailers looking to strengthen ESG, sustainability and circular economy initiatives
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, site visits and solution workshops
• Develop tailored proposals and service agreements
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activity
• Grow ANZ and multi-site customer accounts
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
• Represent EcoCycle at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
