Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience and a Diploma or higher. You will oversee recruiting, scheduling, training, budgeting and daily reconciliation, delivering a positive shopping environment and profitable results.

Responsibilities

• Manage the store, warehouse and staff to deliver store objectives.
• Recruit, schedule, training and performance assessment.
• Create a safe working environment for your team and customers.
• Inventory management, stock takes, banking and administrative duties.
• Ensure customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.
• Set up prices and purchase policies to reduce expenditure and increase sales.
• Market products via promotions and displays; analyze profitability.
• Maintain store operations and retail standards.
• Recruit and onboard new staff; monitor performance.
• Monitor overall performance to ensure service standards meet goals.
• Prepare and control the store budget for minimal expenditure.
• Control costs without compromising standards and customer service.
• Manage stock deliveries and merchandising.
• Ensure occupational health and safety guidelines are followed.
