Job summary

Salomon, the renowned outdoor sports brand, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Bondi store. You will support the Store Manager, lead a high-energy team, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers.

You'll drive sales, oversee inventory and visual merchandising, recruit and train staff, and help launch new initiatives while upholding brand standards and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail.
• A strong track record of hitting sales targets and driving store performance.
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Passion for outdoor sports and a deep understanding of the Salomon brand and products.
• Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to turn insights into action.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to smash sales targets and deliver amazing customer service.
• Own the floor: Oversee inventory and visual merchandising for top-notch store appearance and smooth operations.
• Drive success: Develop and implement strategies to boost foot traffic, sales, and customer loyalty.
• Dream team: Recruit, train, and develop staff alongside the Store Manager.
• Run the show: Manage store operations and support new store launch projects.
• Analyse and optimize: Monitor numbers, manage budget, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Stay true to the brand: Ensure policy and health & safety compliance while embodying Salomon spirit.
