Securecorp is seeking experienced Retail Security Officers to join our team across Melbourne’s south east suburbs. You’ll help keep customers, retailers and staff safe while delivering excellent service, patrolling centres, and responding to incidents.

We value professionals with a current security licence, First Aid/CPR, and a track record in the security industry. Retail security experience is highly preferred, and you’ll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• A current Security Licence is required.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Proven experience in the security industry.
• Retail security experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security and customer service.
• Conduct patrols and monitor assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and alarm activations.
• Identify and manage potential risks.
• Manage access control and site security.
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports and data logs.
• Collaborate with team, centre management and emergency services as needed.
