Job summary

Elders is seeking a Retail Sales Manager in Mudgee to lead a growing team in a permanent, full-time role. You will apply your product knowledge and strong customer service to build and maintain relationships with clients, and identify new opportunities for growth within the Elders range.

As a capable leader, you will manage people, oversee merchandise operations, and work within the Elders network to provide the tools you need to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a retail or agricultural environment.
• Strong sales track record and ability to meet KPI targets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and networks.
• Knowledge of rural/agricultural product ranges and market competitors.
• Experience with merchandise operations and store planning.

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Sales Manager at Mudgee to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Elders Retail Sales Manager at Mudgee, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore.

You are also a strong leader with demonstrated people management and merchandise operational skills. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage business plans and budgets
• Meeting key performance indicators and expenditure targets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, recommending the Elders range of products and services that will strengthen the growth of their business
• Proactively source new business to achieve KPI’s and targets

• Are comfortable and thrive in a collaborative working environment
• Are passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community
• Extensive sales experience and a successful sales record in a rural products business
• Committed to the provision of high-quality customer service
• Possess extensive knowledge of agriculture products, the region and our competitors
• Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
