Job summary

Royal Automobile Association Of South Australia (RAA) is seeking a customer-focused team member for our Marion location. This permanent part-time role (22.8 hours per week) starts 23 November, with four weeks of full-time training, to help members find the right solutions and deliver great service.

You will handle inbound enquiries, aim to exceed sales targets across Insurance and Road Service, and balance sales with quality conversations.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is essential.
• Strong sales background with a track record of hitting company targets.
• Proficient with the use of computers.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy helping people find the right solutions? If so, we'd love to welcome you to our team at Marion!

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you'll be the face of RAA, providing personalised service and expert advice to our members. You'll take the time to understand their needs, recommend products and services that add value, and ensure every interaction is positive, memorable, and leaves our members feeling supported.

In addition, you will:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets across a range of products and services, including Insurance and Road Service.
• Take inbound calls and turn customer enquiries into sales opportunities.
• Build rapport, ask the right questions and identify opportunities to recommend suitable products and services.
• Communicate product benefits and confidently handle questions to help members make informed decisions.
• Balance sales performance with quality conversations, great service and positive member outcomes.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to make sound decisions for both RAA and our members.

Hours

We want you to feel confident and set up for success, so you’ll receive a thorough, structured training program covering our systems, products and sales approach. You’ll commence on 23 November, with four weeks of full-time training to get you started.

After training, this is a permanent part-time role with 22.8 hours per week as well as 1-2 weekend shifts per month paid at an overtime rate.

You will be a confident, self-motivated individual who is passionate about putting our members first in everything you do. We are also looking for:
