Job summary

RAA in Mt Barker is seeking a Travel Sales Consultant to turn your passion for travel into a rewarding, high-performing career. You will tailor and manage end-to-end travel bookings, acting as a trusted advisor to members while engaging them in person, over the phone, via email, and online.

No experience is required as full-time paid training (7 weeks) begins November 23, with a permanent role after training.

What sets this role apart?

At RAA, we do things differently. Our Travel Consultants enjoy guaranteed earnings with a competitive base salary - we don’t rely on commission structures. During your first nine months, you'll earn a base salary of $67,700 plus super while you complete your training and build your expertise. From there, you'll progress to an experienced salary of $75,985 plus super, with the opportunity to earn even more through our rewarding incentive program. In a time where travel can be unpredictable, we provide financial stability and security, so you can focus on delivering exceptional service without the pressure of commission-based sales.

In This Role, You Will

• Tailor and manage end-to-end travel bookings, ensuring personalised experiences that cater to each member's unique preferences.
• Act as a trusted advisor, selling a wide range of travel products, including flights, accommodation, cruises, tours, and more.
• Engage with our members in person, over the phone, via email, and online.
• Exceed sales targets, going above and beyond to achieve remarkable results.

About You

You’re a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and genuinely excited about the world of travel. We are also looking for:

• A well-travelled explorer- you’ve experienced the world, collecting stories from countless international adventures (please share where you have travelled in your cover letter).
• Ability to share your knowledge, making the perfect recommendations to our members.
• A demonstrated track record of reaching high performing sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate multiple complex booking systems.
• You thrive in collaborative environments, always ready to share ideas and help the team succeed.
