RAA in Adelaide is seeking a motivated team member for a permanent part-time role, delivering personalised service to our members and guiding them to suitable insurance and road service options. You’ll be the face of RAA at Marion, helping customers with empathy and product knowledge.

You will start with four weeks of full-time training beginning on 23 November, then transition to 22.8 hours per week with occasional weekend shifts and overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is essential.
• Strong sales background with a track record of hitting targets.
• Proficient with the use of computers and basic systems.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you'll be the face of RAA, providing personalised service and expert advice to our members. You'll take the time to understand their needs, recommend products and services that add value, and ensure every interaction is positive, memorable, and leaves our members feeling supported.

In addition, you will:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets across a range of products and services, including Insurance and Road Service.
• Take inbound calls and turn customer enquiries into sales opportunities.
• Build rapport, ask the right questions and identify opportunities to recommend suitable products and services.
• Communicate product benefits and confidently handle questions to help members make informed decisions.
• Balance sales performance with quality conversations, great service and positive member outcomes.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to make sound decisions for both RAA and our members.

Hours

We want you to feel confident and set up for success, so you’ll receive a thorough, structured training program covering our systems, products and sales approach. You’ll commence on 23 November, with four weeks of full-time training to get you started.

After training, this is a permanent part-time role with 22.8 hours per week as well as 1-2 weekend shifts per month paid at an overtime rate.
