Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern Highlands Corps is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to join our onsite store and warehouse team in Southern Highlands, NSW. You will deliver great customer service, process donations, stock and price items, and support promotions to help our community programs.

Reporting to the Corps Operations and Services Manager, this casual role offers on-site work, a welcoming team, and opportunities to contribute to social impact while maintaining safe, tidy store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to obtain police and Working with Children checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service across store areas.
• Process donations, replenish stock, and ensure merchandise is priced and presented.
• Support store promotions, visual merchandising and marketing activities.
• Maintain cash handling and banking procedures in line with policy.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and well-organised store environment.
• Follow Work Health & Safety requirements and complete other duties as directed.
