Job summary

1001 Optometry Burwood is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Assistant to join our Burwood boutique. You will greet customers, style frames and support dispensing and aftercare, helping deliver a high-end eyewear journey.

We welcome candidates with a passion for fashion and service. Experience in optical or specialty-retail is valued but not required; training is provided. Mandarin and/or Cantonese speakers are highly regarded to assist our diverse local community.

• Build relationships with returning patients and centre shoppers.

Retail Sales Assistant (Part Time) - 1001 Optometry Burwood

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our Burwood boutique. This is a part-time role on the shop floor, supporting patients and customers through their eyewear journey, from greeting and styling through to dispensing support and aftercare.

You will work closely with the store team and optometrists, and you will be part of a tight-knit store team that serves a diverse local community.

About you

Confident, motivated and comfortable on a busy shop floor

A genuine interest in fashion, service and people

Organised, reliable and able to work as part of a small team

Happy to learn optical retail and our house brands

Available for retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Mandarin and/or Cantonese speakers are highly regarded

Previous optical or specialty-retail experience is valued, but not required. We will provide training to the right person.
