Baby Bunting Pty is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for a part-time permanent position in our Queensland store. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, guide new and expectant parents, and help create a welcoming shopping experience.

Join a friendly team, enjoy flexible rosters, and opportunities for growth within a leading nursery retailer. Applicants must be able to lift up to 15kg and work across a rotating schedule including weekends and evenings.

Employment Type: Part-time Permanent

Rosters:

RSA: 1 Wednesday: 11am-4pm | Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm

RSA: 3 Thursday: 4pm-7pm | Saturday 11.30am- 4.30pm

RSA: 4 Monday 8.30am - 4.30pm | Tuesday 11am-4pm | Wednesday 1.30pm -6pm | Sunday 10am-5.30pm

RSA: 5 Thursday 2pm-7.30pm | Friday 11-4pm | Sunday 10am-5pm

RSA: 7 Tueday 1.30pm -6pm | Friday 8.30am - 2.30pm | Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm

RSA: 10 Friday 2pm-6pm | Saturday 9.30am -2.30pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.

Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.

Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.

Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
