Job summary

SmokeMart & GiftBox Mareeba is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service in a busy Mareeba store. You will handle cash and EFTPOS, learn product knowledge across gifting and tobacco ranges, and maintain store presentation to attract customers.

The role requires a fast-paced, friendly team player who can meet sales targets while upholding WHS and security guidelines. Police check may be required if shortlisted.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with shoppers.
• Experience handling cash and operating POS/Eftpos systems.
• Willingness to learn product ranges across gifting and tobacco-related items.
• Merchandising and store presentation to drive sales and attract customers.

Responsibilities
