Brand Collective’s Black Pepper team in Carindale, QLD is seeking a Casual Retail Assistant to welcome customers, showcase outfits and help shoppers feel confident in their selections.

You’ll balance friendly, proactive service with stock replenishment, visual merchandising and smooth checkout experiences, contributing to a positive store atmosphere and sales goals.

We’re looking for a Casual Retail Assistant to join our Black Pepper team in Carindale, QLD!

You’ll be a friendly face on the shop floor, helping customers explore our collections, find the right styles and feel confident in their purchases. Your ability to listen, offer helpful recommendations and build genuine connections will be key to creating a great customer experience.

Alongside serving customers, you’ll help keep the store looking its best, support stock deliveries and replenishment, and work with your teammates to achieve store goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

ABOUT YOU

You’re someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering great service and brings a positive attitude to the workplace.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• An interest in fashion and an eye for putting together great looks.
• Previous experience in retail, sales or another customer-focused role.
• The confidence to approach customers and understand what they’re looking for.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• The ability to balance customer service with daily store responsibilities.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
• Initiative, reliability and enthusiasm for achieving sales goals.
• Availability for casual shifts, including flexibility during weekends and peak trading periods.
