Job summary

Bedshed Alexandria is seeking a Sales Assistant for a casual role with 2-4 shifts per week. You will deliver high-quality customer service, determine customer needs and close sales with product knowledge.

You will also help maintain an inviting store, update stock, and ensure easy access for customers. The role requires a friendly, patient, cooperative team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can adapt quickly to changing stock and customer needs.

About the role

Join the team at Bedshed Alexandria as a Sales Assistant in a casual role working 2-4 shifts per week. While the position is casual, we are committed to offering consistent weekly shifts whenever possible, helping you enjoy greater stability, routine, and a healthy work-life balance.

Passionate about customer service, we are looking for a conscientious team member who can contribute to the ongoing success of the store.In this role you will be determining customer’s needs and managing their expectations through high quality service and expert product knowledge. This involves listening closely and understanding their questions, sourcing appropriate stock (in store or via delivery) and closing the point of sale with a satisfied customer.
You will also work on maintaining an inviting and inspiring store presentation, including updating, rotating and ticketing stock, to ensure ease of access for customers and optimum sales at all times.

Flexibility with availability and working hours is essential as weekend and public holiday work will be required.
