Job summary

Petstock is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our caring retail environment, where we help customers care for their pets and build lasting relationships with the community.

You will provide memorable service, advise on the best care and products, maintain an inviting store, ensure stock is well displayed and replenished, and contribute to a positive, safe team culture. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays, and a willingness to lift products up to 20kg, are important.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for animals and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a retail environment similar to this role.
• Demonstrated drive to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team.
• Physically fit with ability to lift products up to 20 kg.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide memorable customer service where you and the customer enjoy meaningful interactions.
• Educate customers on the best care and products for their pets.
• Complete sales transactions and work toward store sales goals.
• Maintain high store presentation and ensure stock is displayed and replenished promptly.
• Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive in-store culture with a safety mindset.

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
