Job summary

Petstock Group in Bendigo is seeking team members who are passionate about pets and delivering outstanding customer service. You will educate customers on care and products, process sales, and help maintain an inviting store environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for animals and delivering great customer service.
• Experience in a similar retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and work weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and memorable interactions.
• Educate customers on pet care and product recommendations.
• Complete sales transactions and help achieve store targets.
• Maintain high store presentation and ensure stock is replenished.
• Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive in-store culture with a safety mindset.

A Peek Into Your Petstock Day

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work each and every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
