Job summary

Baby Bunting in Geelong is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver outstanding customer service to new and expectant parents, demonstrate product features, manage stock, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

You will work a rotating roster across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with pro-rated benefits and opportunities for growth within a busy nursery specialty retailer. A rewards program and staff discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs, wear a headset, stand and walk for long periods.

• RSA 1: Tuesday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Saturday 12:00pm–5:00pm
• RSA 2: Friday 9:30am–5:30pm | Saturday 11:00am–4:00pm
• RSA 3: Monday 1:30pm–5:30pm | Thursday 9:30am–5:30pm | Sunday 11:30am–4:30pm
• RSA 4: Wednesday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Sunday 11:00am–4:00pm

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. What You Bring To The Team

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
