Baby Bunting Pty in Geelong is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service, support new and expectant parents, and create a welcoming in-store experience.

You’ll engage customers, demonstrate products, manage stock, and adapt to a rotating roster across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. A proactive, friendly attitude and the ability to lift up to 15 kg are essential.

RSA 1: Tuesday 12:30pm-5:30pm | Saturday 12:00pm-5:00pm

RSA 2: Friday 10:30am-6:30pm | Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm

RSA 3: Monday 1:30pm-5:30pm | Friday 9:30am-5:30pm | Sunday 11:30am-4:30pm

RSA 4: Wednesday 12:30pm-5:30pm | Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Customer Engagement - Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.
• Product Demonstration - Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.
• Stock Management - Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.
• Flexible Scheduling - Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
