Job summary

Baby Bunting is Australia\'s largest nursery speciality retailer, dedicated to supporting parents through every step of their journey. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming in-store experience for new and expectant parents.

You will demonstrate product features, manage stock levels, and contribute to a busy, friendly team environment on a permanent part-time basis with RSA shifts. Training paths and staff discounts are part of the perks.

Qualifications

Located in the thriving Munno Para retail precinct, this store is surrounded by major retailers, shopping and everyday conveniences, creating a busy and welcoming environment for staff and customers. The location is easily accessible by car with ample parking available and is well connected by local bus services and nearby train options. With Munno Para Shopping City, cafés, restaurants and takeaway spots close by, staff have plenty of options for lunch and coffee breaks.

RSA 1: Tuesday 9:00am-5:30pm | Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm

RSA 2: Wednesday 1:30pm-5:30pm | Thursday 3:00pm-7:00pm | Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.
• Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.
• Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.
• Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
