Job summary

Baby Bunting in Brisbane seeks a Retail Sales Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and support new and expectant parents. The role focuses on creating a positive shopping experience and helping customers choose the right products in a busy store.

This permanent part-time position offers flexible rosters across Fridays to Sundays, with emphasis on friendly, responsive service, stock presentation, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 15kg, 10kg overhead; headset use; stand and walk for prolonged periods.

It’s easy to access by car with ample parking available, and is also serviced by local bus routes. With Westfield Chermside and a variety of cafés, takeaway spots and restaurants nearby, there are plenty of options for lunch and coffee breaks.

RSA 1: Friday 10:00am–2:30pm | Saturday 8:30am–5:30pm

RSA 2: Friday 12:00pm–4:00pm | Saturday 11:00am–4:00pm | Sunday 11:00am–4:00pm

What you bring to the team

• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
