Job summary

Poolwerx is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Assistant to help customers in our Caloundra store. You’ll test water, recommend products, and explain solutions in simple terms to ensure customers leave confident they chose the right pool or spa care.

You’ll join a team that values helpful attitudes, reliability, and teamwork, with comprehensive training and clear pathways to store leadership or specialist roles.

Qualifications

• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organisational ability.

• Help customers choose pool and spa products with confidence.
• Test water samples and recommend tailored chemical treatments.
• Keep the showroom organised, well-stocked and welcoming.
• Assist with stock control, displays and product merchandising.
• Support opening and closing procedures and cash handling.

The Role:

A pool isn't just a pool—it's where families relax, kids learn to swim, and memories are made. When customers walk into a Poolwerx store, they're not simply buying chemicals or equipment. They're looking for trusted advice, practical solutions, and someone who can help keep their pool at its best.

As a Poolwerx Retail Sales Assistant, you'll become the trusted expert customers rely on. You'll test water, recommend solutions, explain products in simple terms, and help customers leave with confidence knowing they've found the right solution.

This role has the capacity to progress to a Full Time position, and future management opportunities await for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Customer Advice & Sales: Help customers choose the right pool and spa products with confidence.

• Water Testing & Solutions: Analyse water samples and recommend tailored chemical treatments.

• Store Presentation: Keep the showroom organised, well-stocked, and welcoming.

• Inventory & Merchandising: Assist with stock control, displays, and product merchandising.

• Daily Store Operations: Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and general store operations.
